Literature Text
Kurt looked at his phone in horror. No way. There was no way in hell that that happened. When his ringtone began to play Kurt swallowed nervously. It was Blaine. He didn't know if he wanted to answer. What he had just sent… it was so horribly embarrassing and he didn't know if he could deal with whatever Blaine was about to say. Kurt decided to let it ring through. Blaine didn't leave a message so Kurt placed his phone back on his nightstand. He was about to fall asleep when his ringtone played again.
Well, time to face the inevitable, he thought.
"Hello?"
"Hi," Blaine's voice sounded husky and rough and Kurt pictured Blaine laying on his bed, his face stubbly and his hair in messy curls. The thought was like a slap to the face.
"Look, Blaine, about that text," Kurt started to say before realizing he wasn't sure where he was going with it.
"Let me guess? You didn't mean to send it?" Blaine asked and Kurt could almost hear him roll his eyes.
"Well, no. I didn't mean to send it," Kurt answered defensively, "Why would I purposely force this conversation upon myself, Blaine?"
"What do you mean?"
"This-this awkwardness!" Kurt moaned, "I don't even know why I typed that, and yeah I feel like a complete idiot. But I… I was just… and I've…" Kurt's voice trailed off as he lost his confidence and tried to sink into his pillows as he felt his face fluster.
"Is it true, though?" Blaine's voice sounded surprisingly calm for the situation they were in, and Kurt felt like a blushing virgin again.
"I-what do you mean?"
"Did you mean what you said; about Ellington and your… your feelings for me?"
"I… well, I…" With a sigh Kurt gave up, "yes, of course I did."
"Why didn't you just tell me, Kurt? While I was in New York, why didn't you just-just tell me?" Blaine sounded so… desperate.
"Because I wasn't ready to put myself up for rejection."
"Rejection? Kurt, what on earth do you mean? Why would I reject you when I've been in love with you since I met you?"
Kurt gasped loudly and it took all his strength to hold back his tears. "…What?" He managed to choke out.
"Oh, Kurt. Isn't it obvious? How can you not see that I still have feelings for you? Did you honestly think they went away? I… I couldn't forget you Kurt. I tried, believe me I tried, but you were… you are my everything. You don't know how much I wanted to fly out to New York and see your first ever Broadway performance, how badly I wanted to be there with you as you grew and the rest of the world saw the beauty that I've known was there from the beginning. I love you, Kurt Hummel. I love you more than I ever thought would be possible and there isn't a thing in this world that would ever change that."
The emotion in Blaine's voice was so clear, so painfully obvious, that Kurt couldn't help but cry. Blaine still loved him and it filled him with so much joy that Kurt was sure his heart was going to beat out of its ribcage. He had never wished so badly to be with Blaine more then he did in that moment. He just wanted to be back in the safety of Blaine's arms, back home.
"...Kurt?"
"I-I… I don't know what to say," Kurt said through his tears. After a moment Kurt spoke up again, "Blaine, where are you?"
"At my apartment, why?"
"Where's that?"
"Er… Seattle." There was a moment of silence before Kurt heard Blaine speak again. "Kurt, why do you need to know?"
"I… Blaine, I…"
"You what, Kurt?"
"I want to be with you, Blaine!" Kurt blurted out before he thought about it. He felt a blush rise to the tip of his ears and for that moment he was glad that Blaine couldn't see him.
"…What?"

"I want to be with you, Blaine!" Kurt's voice was so desperate, that Blaine's mind went completely blank. Reading it in a text message was one thing, but hearing Kurt say it? It was suddenly hard for Blaine to breathe.
"…What?" He whispered into the phone, immediately feeling like an idiot. Great response, Blaine. He thought, Way to keep the mood. Kurt's answer, however, left him even more dumbfounded.
"I… I want to… I want to be able to hold you, to kiss you, to call you mine! I want to be able to talk to you about anything at any time. I want to come home and cook dinner for you; I want to see your smiling face every night before I go to bed. I want you, Blaine, and I don't care if I have to leave Broadway and move to Seattle, I want to be with you."
"Kurt… you… but I…" Blaine couldn't believe how stupid he sounded as he stumbled over what he wanted to say. The only coherent thought that he would process was that Yes, Kurt loves him.
"Blaine," Kurt breathed and it snapped him out of his thoughts immediately.
"I want to be with you, too, Kurt." Admitting it felt so good, and Blaine was smiling so hard he felt like his face was splitting in half.
"Can I… can I come see you? Please?"
"Kurt, of course you can," Blaine responded immediately, "But don't you still have shows?"
"Well, yeah, but I can get out of them. We've got backups and—"
"Kurt, no. You're going to finish your performances for Grease, and then we'll find away to get to each other."
"But Blaine!"
Blaine laughed at Kurt's whiney tone. "Kurt, we've waited years for each other, and I promise you I won't stop loving you. Ever. We both know that this show means a lot to you, and you are not leaving it for me." There was a grumble in response, and Blaine laughed harder. "Oh, Kurt. I love you so much and I'm so glad that I can finally say that."
"But now I want to see you."
"I think you'll be able to last a few more days. How many more shows do you have?"
"Blaine, it… we're running it for another five weeks…" Kurt responded quietly.
"Well, that's not too bad, right?"
"I suppose not." As they fell into a comfortable silence, Blaine walked back into his living area and picked up his sketchbook. For some reason he knew that this time he'd be able to get those breathtaking eyes right. "Hey, Blaine?"
"Mm?" Blaine responded as his charcoal scratched across the paper, the beginnings of the portrait already there.
"I love you."
A giddy smile graced Blaine's features as he stopped drawing. "I love you, too, Kurt."

Lost
Five-year-old Chris stood there, in the middle of the card aisle of a large department store, holding a pretty looking card, crying.
"Da
Da
Daddy?" Chris asked to no one in particular as tears filled his blue/green eyes. His Daddies wouldn't just leave him here! Would they? And where was Darren? Where was his older brother when Chris actually needed and wanted him? The little boy had no idea where his family was and he wasn't positive what to do about it.
He knew he needed to get help but where? From who?
"Is something wrong?" a female voice asked from beside him. Chris looked up from the marble floor he had been staring at and

Kurt sighed as he stared down at his History text book, not really paying attention to the words written in it. He must have read the current sentence he was at least twelve times and he still didn't know what it said. His mind kept wandering off to other things that deemed more important.
For example, Valentines Day was only a week away. Now, usually, Valentines Day was something he would avoid. It's not like he hated the holiday, it just reminded him that he did not have a boyfriend or like last year, did not have Finn. For a while, to him it was not Valentines day but rather Single Awareness Month. However, this year was different. This y

Blaine didn't move, he just continued to lay on his side and stare out the window, "What?" not a single note of curiosity in his voice.
"Kurts gone."
The impact of the words felt like a punch in the stomach, tears stung Blaines eyes and he worried for a moment that he might be sick.
"When...when?" was all Blaine managed to get out, his throat constricting, tears burning down his cheeks.
" Just now... Dude seriously aren't you going to do anything?" David asked, his frustration with his friend very evident.
Blaine slowly sat up on his bed, and turned to face his

So, this chapter took a while to write. It's not that it's longer than usual, sadly it's not, I just had a lot of troubles writing it. It's a bit awkward and, er, I dunno. Excited for the upcoming chapters. Not quite sure if I want to end it where I was planning to or write a bit more into it. Hmm, would you guys like to read more?
Hope you enjoy this chapter, none the less!
